Privacy Policy

AWOL Contractor OS ("we," "us") provides missed-call answering and SMS/voice automation for contracting businesses. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Your business information: name, trade, phone number, service area, business hours, and the questions/greeting you configure.
• Your customers' information: name, phone number, address, job details, urgency, and the full text-message thread between them and your business line.
• Calendar data, if you connect Google Calendar: your calendar's free/busy times and the appointments we create on your behalf. We request the minimum scopes needed for this (viewing free/busy time and creating events) — we do not read the content of unrelated events.
• Billing information, handled entirely by our payment processor (Stripe) — we do not store your card details ourselves.

How we use it

• To answer missed calls and texts on your behalf and, if you connect Google Calendar, add jobs to your calendar.
• To operate your account and billing.
• We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties.

Where it lives

• Business and lead data is stored in our database, hosted with Supabase (Canada region).
• Text messages are carried by Twilio.
• Payments are processed by Stripe — card numbers never touch our systems.
• Calendar events, if you connect Google Calendar, live in your own Google account.

Who can see it

You (the contractor) see everything belonging to your own business in your dashboard. AWOL staff can access account data only to provide support. No other customer of ours can see your data.

Google Calendar data specifically

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google Calendar access only to check availability and create appointment events for your business — never for advertising, and never shared with anyone outside providing this service to you.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period after cancellation for billing records and legal compliance. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

You can disconnect your Google Calendar at any time from your dashboard. You can request a copy of your data or its deletion by emailing outreach@awol-contractor-os.com.
